Home learning week beginning 8th June 2020

What a strange week. It has been amazing having the year 6 children in again, just seeing them together back in class has been such a joy for all of us. However, at the same time it reminds us of the children, in year 5, who are not with us and , if possible, we miss them even more. Only time will tell when things will return to some sense of normality but please remember you are in our hearts and thoughts.

This week you will have received a pack with some comprehension and maths sheets in. Please complete these as we will be collecting them in at a later time. If you would like some more ideas on what to do you could continue to use the lessons on the Oak Academy in maths to extend your learning. You could choose an area to revise looking through the previous years learning or challenge yourself to some new learning, looking, for example, at translation in the year 5 resources. You could even look at their lessons on history or science. We have also included a link to a science website that has some great experiments you can have a go at. Try to record your experiment and share it with us!

Again, we have included some SPAG lessons and RE lessons below. There are also some extra activities to have a go at. Please take a look and choose some to have a go at this week.

Let us know how it is going through emails and the facebook page. Be safe and look after yourselves.
