Dear Owls,
I have really enjoyed seeing the work that has been sent in - there is such a variety and you are trying your best! I am so proud of you for taking part in the National Sumdog Contest. Owl Class features on the leader board. I wonder how far we can climb this week? There is still time to take part!
Here is your home-learning for this week. Choose 3 Maths and English activities to send via the office or through Facebook. Any extra activities are optional.
Have a great week!
Miss Burnell :)

-Cloud reflections - draw the mirror line in your Maths book and complete the cloud shapes to make them symmetrical.
-Cloud patterns - continue the repeating cloud patterns.
-Cloud x tables. Which answers feature in the x2, x5 and x10 table? Some appear in more than one. Colour accordingly.
-Log onto Sumdog to see this week's challenges - the contest finishes on THURSDAY this week (9th July)
-Try symmetry matching and sorting on TopMarks (links below).

-Plurals (adding s) sheet.
-Plurals (adding es) sheet.
-Write a cloud poem - look at the planning sheet below and cloud poem example. Notice how all the verbs end in 'ing' and that there is a list of adjectives at the end. Have a go yourself.
-Invent ways in which other natural phenomena are made e.g. lightning or thunder. Use the Cloudy lesson clip as inspiration. Write a paragraph to explain this and draw a picture to explain the process. Be as creative as you can! This is just a fictional explanation like the clouds in the video clip.
