Monday

Recap all the sounds and words learnt so far using the power points attached or phonics play.

Really concentrate this week on reading the high frequency words. Watch a video of how Mrs Burrough would teach 5 words at a time in the 'Reception phonics section'. It is really helpful for your child if the high frequency words can be read by sight without having to be sounded out.  Choose five that your child doesn’t know so well and try to teach those like Mrs Burrough has shown in the reception video. Once your child is confident with those five, choose the next five.  If five words are too much try three.
