Revise sounds learnt so far. Today you could go onto phonics play by following the link and choosing to revise all of phase 2 & 3 sounds on the speed trial challenge. Watch the phonics lesson ou on Bug Club. Tell your child that the spelling ou often comes in the middle of a word like in cloud, loud & proud where as the ow sound they learnt in reception comes at the end of a word like in cow & wow. Of course there are always exceptions to this so words have to be learnt by practising.
