RE - Together
This week we are exploring the theme of gathering. We would like the children to talk about the times that they have gathered together with others, talking about how that made them feel and talk about what they wonder about the enjoyment of being together.
Read the story, ‘Happy Together’
Think of activities are better done together? Write a list of the activities. What makes them better done with other people?
Show some pictures that show people doing things together. Talk about the activities and how they are better being done with people together.
Think of things that you do together as a family. Write in the middle of a piece of paper ‘All that we do together.’ Draw a cloud around it and then scribe for your child all the things you do as a family. Try to write down what your child says.
Reflection
Have a quiet moment together to reflect on and appreciate the joy of having fun together.
