Songs and Rhymes

As well as practising the songs and rhymes from previous weeks, please look at the two new rhymes and have a go at learning these from memory.  Don't forget to show me on Tapestry when you have learnt them!

Thank you
From Mrs Burrough

Mr Moon, you’re up too soon,

The sun’s still in the sky;

Go back to bed

And cover your head,

You must wait till the day’s gone by.

Five small stars that shone so bright,

Hold up five fingers and wriggle them.

Were dancing about in the sky one night;

A cloud came slowly drifting by,

Clasp hands high above head and move arms gently.

Then only four stars shone in the sky.

Hold up four fingers.

Four small stars, etc. till there are none.

No small stars were shining bright,

No little stars to dance in the night;

But the cloud moved on, and by and by

Those five small stars shone again in the sky.
