The Great Fire of London

As part of their topic The Great Fire of London (which started in a bakery on Pudding Lane), Woodpecker Class made bread rolls. They used their maths skills to weigh all the ingredients and for English, they wrote instructions on how to make bread rolls. Making the bread in a plastic bag helped to keep the classroom tidy and allowed the children to see how the bread proved. As well as this, the children tasted a range of bread, kindly donated from Tesco, which introduced different flavours. Their favourite was the cheesy bread! Everyone enjoyed the baking process. I wonder if anyone will follow in the footsteps of Paul Hollywood and be on the Great British Bake Off?
