Activities for Wriggly Writers this week.
Please choose one activity to do each day.
Zig Zag Letters – please practise the letters in the zig zag family. There is a sheet attached to show you how to write the letters if you wish to use it.
Days of the week - Keep practising spelling the days of the week.
Moon Picture – have a go at making a moon picture like the one in the photo. We are going to tear newspaper and collage the moon first before putting on our paint using scrunched up tin foil. Then we will cut it out and put it onto black card before painting on some stars.
Playdough – using the attached recipe to make some playdough. Roll it out and have a go at cutting out some circles to represent the different planets.
High Frequency words – practise spelling the phase 2 and 3 high frequency words, depending on which words your child need to learn to spell. If your child can spell the phase 2 and 3 high frequency words have a go at the phase 4 tricky words. They are all attached so you know what they are. If your child is willing, this could be a 10 min every day activity.
