Rhymes
Please read the rhymes and poems to your child. Read them a few times and encourage your child to join in. Repeat this on Thursday and Friday so by Friday they can recite the poems off by heart.

Snowman Activity
Make a snow man picture by drawing around a large circle for the body and a smaller circle for the head, cut them out and stick them on a piece of paper. Draw a hat for the snow man, cut it out and stick it on the snowman's head. Then draw the snowman's features. Please post onto Tapestry.
One Armed Robots
Please practise writing the one armed robot letters. If you are unsure how to write them there is a link to BBC Bitesize which shows you what to do. Try to encourage your child to write them on a line. I have attached a sheet to remind you of what the one armed robot letters are. You may like to write a few for your child to write over first before they practise writing them on their own. Remember it is important that your child writes the letters correctly so they don't get into bad habits. Please watch over them when they are writing there letters. Also, the letter b starts at the top & once the pencil hits the line at the bottom it goes back up and over.
Days of the Week
Please practise writing the days of the week. Try to learn to spell from them from memory.
