Reception Phonics
This week for phonics we will be assessing what the children have learnt so far in phase 3.
I will be assessing the children on their return to school to see how they have got on learning phase 3 phonics so I suggest that this week you go on Bug Club (I have allocated every lesson for each sound taught in phase 3) and watch any lessons of sounds that your child is slightly unsure of and follow the lessons for these and play the games.
Please continue to read a book from Bug Club each day. You can also go onto Phonics Play and play lots of games on there with your child. Also on the BBC bitesize there are lots of lovely lessons that teach all the sounds learnt so far in phase 3 so you could look at these with your child.
