Pilgrimage 2025

Robins, Woodpeckers and Owls enjoyed their pilgrimages around Axminster today, stopping to pray at significant places and leaving their crosses to mark these special prayer spots.✝️✝️
Thank you to all our volunteers who supported us for each pilgrimage.
Kestrels and Eagles made their jubilee pilgrimage today walking from St Mary’s to Kilmington Baptist Church and back.

They walked a total of 5 miles, stopping at places such as the vets, Bow Bridge, the quarry, the sewage works, the gym, cricket ground etc to pray for the people who work in these places, the nature around us and for the things we enjoy in our lives such as food, healthcare and flushing toilets etc.

A huge thank you to the team at Kilmington Baptist church who welcomed us and let us use their hall and garden for our lunch stop. Thank you also to the wonderful bell ringers at St Giles’ Church in Kilmington who rang the bells so beautifully for our arrival into Kilmington.

Such a special way to celebrate the jubilee year and the late Pope Francis’ message of hope.
